Ordering

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our collection, add items to your basket, and proceed to checkout. We accept all major credit and debit cards. You'll receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order.

Can I order by phone?

Yes, we're happy to take orders over the phone. Call us on 01952 407599 during business hours and we'll help you with your order.

Do you offer trade discounts?

Yes, we welcome interior designers, architects, and trade professionals. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we'll be happy to help.

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free on orders over GBP500. For orders under GBP500, standard delivery is GBP9.95 to UK mainland addresses. See our Delivery page for full details.

How long will delivery take?

Most in-stock items are dispatched within 2-3 working days and delivered within 5-7 working days. Some larger or made-to-order items may take longer - delivery times are shown on each product page.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands?

Yes, we deliver across the UK including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Additional delivery charges may apply to remote postcodes - please see our Delivery page.

Installation

Do I need an electrician to install my lighting?

Yes, all fixed electrical installations must be carried out by a qualified electrician. This is a legal requirement in the UK for safety reasons. We do not provide installation services. See our Installation Guide for more information.

Are bulbs included?

Bulb inclusion varies by product and is clearly stated on each product page. Where bulbs are not included, we recommend the appropriate bulb type and wattage for each fixture.

Is there a warranty?

All our lighting comes with a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage from incorrect installation or misuse. Warranty terms vary by brand and are detailed on each product page.

Returns

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day returns policy on unused, uninstalled items in their original packaging. Items must not have been wired or connected to the electrical supply. See our Delivery & Returns page for full details.

Can I return an item that has been installed?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been installed or wired. Please check dimensions and suitability carefully before installation. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately - do not install it.

How do I arrange a return?

Contact us by email at tony.cooper@webuildstores.co.uk or call 01952 407599 to arrange your return. We'll provide a returns authorisation number and instructions for returning your item.
