NOX 40 is a cone shade of forty centimetres, and the width of it gives a broader spread of light than a narrower shade would. The suspension stays slender, so the fitting reads as a shape rather than a mass.
The size decides the room. A shade this wide wants a long dining table, a kitchen island, or a living room with space enough to carry it.
It sits well in modern and industrial rooms, and the matte finishes keep the form reading as an outline rather than a surface.
