LAGOS takes raw steel and works it into narrow cylinders, made as a wall light and as a pendant on the same lines. The material is left plain, on the assumption that steel needs no help.

Narrow, hard shapes of that kind belong to the rooms they were drawn for: loft interiors with brick or bare plaster, and modernist schemes where the furniture is already spare.

A living room, a bedroom, or a hallway arranged with some care will each take one, and in each case it will look chosen rather than merely fitted.
