The shade is printed with a small princess in a crown, stars around her, and the words My little Princess set alongside. It is made in two sizes, thirty and forty centimetres, so it can be matched to the room rather than the other way round.
The drawing is fine rather than bold, which is what lets it sit against a pastel wall without shouting over it.
It is a working light as well as a decorated one, in a room that is used for playing in the afternoon and sleeping at night.
