LEO is a cube, made entirely of concrete, and open at the top so the light leaves in both directions. That gives twice the light of a wall fitting that only sends it one way.
The geometry is exact and the material is not, which is where the interest lies. Lit, the cube draws its own shape on the wall behind it.
Concrete belongs in industrial and loft rooms, and this sits comfortably against wood and darker tones. It is a plain object doing a decorative job.
