LUVO is built on concrete, a material that spent a long time outside any conversation about what a home should look like. The series takes it at face value and makes no attempt to disguise it.
That is the whole of the appeal. A room with concrete in it does not read as ordinary, and nobody chooses a fitting like this by accident.
