Merida is built for a room with some hardness in it: brick, dark metal, furniture that does not apologise. The lamps are steel, and the design leans into that rather than dressing it up.
Each light adjusts for the angle of its beam, so a fitting can be turned onto a worktop or a wall rather than left to flood the room.
