Mono is a ceiling light reduced to its simplest shape, and the reduction is the whole of the design. Nothing has been added that a room would later have to live with.
A minimal fitting is usually assumed to belong only in a minimal room, which is not quite true. Mono holds up against classic furniture as well, because a plain shape does not argue with anything.
It comes in a range of sizes and colours that can be combined as a room requires. Several of the same fitting in different sizes gives a room some rhythm without introducing a second design.
